What is blog pinging service?
The Blog Pinging service is a way to inform blog directories and search engines that your blog has been updated. These updates are then shared with other search engines and blog directories to allow them to discover the changes to your blog.
This pinging service will help you to increase your traffic. So if you have a huge list of ping service then you can get huge number of visitor from there. Bellow I have listed some pinging service URLs that are present in the web. So add following ping urls list at your Wordpress Blog.
How to add list of ping services URL on your blog?
First Login into your wordpress blog, first go to your dashboard >> click on the Settings Tab >> Go to writing sub tab >> scroll down the page and you will find “Update Services” section at the bottom of the page >> Copy following ping urls and paste in the box.

Thanks for this info but you have mention only wordpress.What about blogspot? Is the ping service is also applicable for blogspot?
