Amitabh Bachchan (Big B) is now a Blogger!
Hey great news, Shahensha of the Bollywood - Amitabh Bachchan has now become a blogger. The purpose of his blog is, increase interaction with his fans. Also he wants to share his opinion and thoughts with the fans directly. Amitabh said in a press statement ”My blog will allow me to express myself, share and reflect my emotions, thoughts, opinions and listen to what people have to say to me,”. He has tied up with Bigadda.com (an Indian youth network site) for his blog. Few other Bollywood bloggers like Amir Khan and Kunal Kapoor also use the Internet to share their thoughts with the fans. Bollywood Shahensha also follows their foot steps.
He is very excited about his new blog. In his words,”What’s most important for me is that I can now share consequential replies to the inconsequential gossip that do the rounds. I have always wanted a platform where I can speak, for truth is always stranger than fiction. People will now get an unedited version of my views, ideas and thoughts, straight from me,”
Again it is proved that online media (Internet Marketing) become more popular day by day that’s why big stars like Amitabh and Amir give more importance on this online media and use it to popularize their product (Movie).

I saw that sometime back and it is a big source of info for journalists, very authentic source. Every important personality should have a blog of their own.

You are right Aji, every important personality should have their own blog. Many people and company using blog to build public relation. It is a Strong public relation buildup tool. Soon everyone use this tool and then no need to hire Public Relationship Manager.

Shimul I remind you posting “how to become a famous blogger”. Amir is a famous blogger and now Big B joins him.
It’s great to have a person like him to make time for blogging as Bollywood people have hard time schedule. His blog lacks some important features too which can make it more participatory. Can you and me give some consultation.
